Desperate times call for desperate measures. On one hand, it’s currently 50+ degrees in the middle of February. Spring is here, right? Warm weather, long outdoor rides! Yet on the other hand, the trails (and dirt roads) are in the middle of a bar-bender detox from the latest winter weather, with freeze/thaw cycles now at play and muddy messes everywhere. Come on Michigan – we haven’t even needed studs yet! Disappointing indeed and sadly – conditions far from ideal for the FBC.
So with that said, we’re back onto the Stony pavement for S7. New segment, different turns and twists. It’s not the segment-sequel we want but it’s the segment we’ve got with this Michigan weather. On the upside, we should have a week of warm weather for some great riding.
