It was a great week of riding in S4, followed by a not-so-great-week in S5. Holly Wilderness had such potential for us on Monday, but then Mother Nature threw a change up and pulled the rug of weather out from under our feet, transforming blissful snow into regrettable slush and conditions that double and tripled the times laid down on Monday. Big kudos to those hardcore guys and gals who made it out and laid down a time, especially after Monday. If you didn’t see our post or email, we are giving everyone a DNF/1 point for this segment, keeping all in the running for the cake and still in the game due to the big change in conditions.
Now for the anti-kudos news – we are delaying S6 and having a bye this coming week. Hopefully some added time to help the trails clear out a bit and become rideable for us all.
