S8 is a wrap and our final riding segment of the 2024 FBC campaign has come to a close. Milford provided a great place to ride and certainly a fun segment. Weather was a bit of a challenge with cold and crunchy temps most mornings, with warmer and less than ideal conditions happening later each day. Even with those challenges, we surpassed 350 attempts throughout the week which was a great number at a new location with some prime winter single track riding.
Note: with this being the last round, if you don’t see your name on the S8 leaderboard (missed a turn, etc.), please email us right away to ensure you don’t miss out on the cake.
Now for S9. We’ll be hosting our season-ending party to put a nice and tidy bow on the season this upcoming Friday, 3/1 at Main Street Bicycles (Washington location, 26 mile and Mound). Party is from 7-9pm and you can expect good friends and good times, with beverages and food provided. We’ll have prizes to giveaway and of course present the golden tickets/Cold Stone Cake gift certs for those who did all eight segments. Should be a great time you don’t want to miss.
